It’s hard to believe a yoghurt can have no fat, but this tasty tub from Yeo Valley does. Unlike other low-fat yoghurts, it is full-bodied and quite creamy, and you can enjoy knowing it was made from British cows. Eat with fruit or honey for a sweeter snack.
6. Ryvita Multi-Seed Thins
These thin flatbreads are particularly moreish, especially when dipped in hummus (from the low-fat aisle, of course). The seeds add an extra depth of flavour and at only 38 calories per thin, they are a tasty, low-fat alternative. But be warned: they are prone to breaking in the pack.
7. Walkers Sunbites
A good alternative to deep-fried crisps, these bites have been baked to avoid using large amounts of oil and as a result, contain around half the fat of your average packet of crisps. The sweet chili and sour cream flavours are particularly tasty.

They may cost slightly more than you’d like to pay, but research suggests they can help to boost your energy levels. 9. Munchy Seeds Snack Packs
For snacking on the go, try one of these handy seed packs. Naturally high in fatty acids (“good fats”), the seeds are low in saturated fat. The honey-roasted seeds are so tasty you won’t remember you’re on a diet. But be warned – they are hard to eat sociably at your desk.
