Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn show contrasting emotions at weigh-ins

Chris Eubank Jr won a thrilling fight with Conor Benn on Saturday night, outpointing his bitter rival 116-112 on all three scorecards in London.

At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, two-and-a-half years after they were first due to fight, Eubank Jr finished a see-saw contest in fine form to seal victory over Benn, handing the younger boxer his first professional loss.

There had been drama at the start – with Benn’s two adverse drug-test results thwarting their planned clash in 2022 – and there was drama at the end, as Eubank Sr arrived at the venue with his son, despite criticising the match-up for years.

Thirty-two years after Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn, Conor’s father, rounded out their own rivalry with a draw, Jr did what his dad did in 1990: beat a Benn.

Re-live the action and follow the fallout from Eubank Jr vs Benn and the undercard fights, below.

Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur trilogy rounds out undercard

Round four

Arthur starts the round with a one-two before landing a left hook, a nice three-punch combo to set the tone for the fourth.

The pair then trade stabs to the body before Arthur connects with another jab flush on the nose.

They enter the clinch with Yarde getting a couple shots to the body while in close quarters.

Great left hook from Arthur to see out the round. That knocked Yarde back a step.

Round three

Yarde going to the body effectively but also finding success with the left hooks to the head.

He then gets a straight left to the upper-body before coming in over the top with a right. Arthur is responding with the a couple jabs that are getting through.

Technical battle so far as the round ends with a connected one-two for Yarde.

Round one

Heavy jab from Arthur early on. Yarde presses forward, then slings a right cross onto the chin of his opponent, who is also standing orthodox.

Arthur looks a little perturbed, as Yarde turns the dial with a longer combination.

Here’s the story of the night, other the main event itself, of course.

Liam Smith and Aaron McKenna set for middleweight showdown

Round 12

Sorry for the lack of updates in the last few rounds; the furore around Eubank Sr arriving was a distraction, as you can imagine!

In the first minute of the final frame, a left hook to the body drops Smith, who plants his gloves on the canvas while on both knees and takes a deep breath.

He’s back up and throwing shots, a sign of valiance that is appreciated by the crowd!

It’s back and forth until the final bell, which will herald victory for McKenna.

Aaron McKenna def. Liam Smith via unanimous decision (119-108, 117-109, 118-108)

Yep, there it is.

PLOT TWIST! CHRIS EUBANK SR ARRIVES WITH JR

WOW! Huge cheers on the big screen as Chris Sr is shown arriving with Chris Jr!

Sr steps out of a car in the parking lot first, followed by his son. What follows is about five minutes of non-stop chatter in the crowd at Tottenham.

We then see footage of Conor and Nigel Benn WATCHING the Eubanks arrive together.

This is box office.

Liam Smith and Aaron McKenna set for middleweight showdown

Into the second half of the fight. Smith with a strong uppercut, but it doesn’t deter the game McKenna.

And McKenna dials it up now, landing almost at will on a tired-looking Smith.
