Welcome to The Independent's live coverage of Saturday's Premier League action.

The day begins with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City making a short trip north to face Burnley, who come into the game off the back of a bruising defeat at West Bromwich Albion.

City, meanwhile, qualified for the Champions League knock-out stages on Wednesday, with a less-than-inspiring draw against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Kick-off is at 12.30pm. Stay with us for team news and updates...

Pep Guardiola appears not to have an overcoat. Will this affect Man City's performance? Only time will tell. Kick off is 15 minutes away.b2410ab1-2612-4884-8e61-24f6a5e303bb.jpg

Only one winner in today's early battle of the mascots. Burnley's decidedly weird Bertie Bee the clear winner over Man City's 'Moonchester'f3284900-a165-4384-8b17-c822d2c03a0e.jpg

The teams are out. Kick off seconds away. Paul Robinson is in goal for Burnley! What more could you want?
