OVERVIEW
While not right on the beach, W Ibiza is next to it, though style lovers will want to lounge by the good-sized pool, where a DJ gets the party started at sunset and the rooms' colour-co-ordinated awnings make for perfect Insta shots. There's an on-site restaurant, La Llama, an expansive rooftop bar, Glow, and a small spa and fitness room in the basement.

OUR REVIEW
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Set right at one end of the promenade along Santa Eulalia's sweep of beach, it's neighbours with the Riomar Hotel (which is also run by Marriott). A couple of restaurants are close by, while the bars and cafés of the seafront are several minutes' walk away. If you want to sunbathe on the sand, the beach is just across the (pedestrianised) street. Seafood restaurant Chiringuito Blue, set on the beach, and vegetarian Ve Cafe are great places to stop off for a casual lunch.
By plane: there are direct flights from London (2 hours 30 mins) and Manchester (2 hours 50 mins). The hotel is a 25-minute drive from the airport. Free parking on-site. Book flights to Ibiza.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
The brief for architects Baranowitz + Kronenberg was to be inspired by the history, patterns and colours of the White Isle. So the sculptured rope ceiling is a nod to its fishing history, while the fabrics reflect the island's ties to Moorish culture. The heart of the hotel, the sunken W Lounge, is inspired by the steps of Ibiza Town's cathedral, Dalt Vila.
THE FACILITIES
There is no other word for the rooftop bar, Glow, than amazing. It has its own small infinity pool and a range of cabanas to lounge on while sipping on a cocktail, day or night, with stunning 360 degree views over Santa Eulalia. The dinky spa and gym are ample for those who want to relax and keep fit.

BED AND BATH
Fabrics and patterns have been used to striking effect: wooden headboards are spattered with paint, Jackson Pollock-style, beds are draped with Moorish fabrics and tables have Keith Haring-like patterns in bright orange and pink.
