OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Time's location is perhaps its greatest asset. On a relatively quiet side street in the heart of theatre land and a short walk from Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park and MOMA are all not too far. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, as well as a choice of 15 subway lines and the main bus station, Port Authority.

By plane: flights from London, Manchester or Edinburgh to New York take 7 hours. A taxi will take 40 minutes from JFK airport. Paid parking available nearby. Book flights to New York.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

There's a boutique vibe here, but with nearly 200 rooms, it's large. There's a beige, grey and white colour palette. It was redesigned by the Rockwell Group in 2015 as part of a major renovation, and there's good use of natural materials and plenty of examples of contemporary furniture and art.

THE FACILITIES

There's not a whole lot of facilities here apart from a restaurant, coffee shop bar, small lounge area and small gym with cardio and weight-training equipment.
