West Ham vs Man United prediction: Premier League betting tips, odds & line-ups
Follow our football betting tips as Manchester United travel to West Ham in the Premier League

West Ham vs Man United betting tips
Manchester United travel to West Ham on Tuesday looking to make it five wins out of five under interim boss Michael Carrick and end a recent good run of form for a resurgent Hammers team (8:15pm, TNT Sports 1 and Discovery+).
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have won three of their last four in the Premier League and know a win tonight could move them out of the relegation zone, depending on goal difference.
They are now eight points clear of Burnley in 19th and just three behind Nottingham Forest, who face the bottom side Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.
Those wins against Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Burnley last time out have given them a real chance of beating the drop, and confidence will be high as they welcome United to the London Stadium.
However, betting sites still make West Ham odds-on for relegation and their next is against the form side in the league in 2026.
The Red Devils are full of confidence after their wins over Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and Tottenham, which has moved them up to fourth in the Premier League table with 44 points from their 25 games.
They have the advantage over their top four rivals that they are not in European competition, so have a fresher squad and fewer games to contend with as they look to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since the 2023/24 season.
West Ham vs Manchester United betting preview: United to keep on scoring
When the sides met earlier in the season, a late goal from Soungoutou Magassa earned the visitors a point at Old Trafford after Diogo Dalot had given United the lead, but that was a very different United side to the one we expect to see in action tonight.
That said, they don’t have the best of records against the Hammers, losing their last three meetings on the road and four of their last six in total.
West Ham completed the double over them last season, following up a 2-1 home win, which was secured by a penalty from Jarrod Bowen in added time, with a 2-0 win at Old Trafford, with Bowen on the scoresheet again.
But United have been impressive on the road this season. Since losing two of their first three Premier League away games, against Man City and Brentford, they have lost just one of their last nine, winning four and drawing four.
That run includes wins at Anfield and the Emirates, so they won’t fear tonight’s trip, and it’s why the football betting sites have them as favourites for the win at 8/11.
Considering their position in the table, West Ham have not had a problem scoring goals, with 31 so far, which is more than the likes of Sunderland and Crystal Palace and just five less than third-placed Aston Villa. Their problem has been stopping them at the other end, conceding a whopping 48, including three or more on eight separate occasions.
United have also been shaky at the back with just four clean sheets all season, so the Hammers will have chances tonight.
United have scored three or more six times so far in this campaign, including twice in their last three match against Arsenal and Fulham, while they could have had a hatful against City and over 2.5 away goals looks a good option on betting apps.
West Ham vs Man United prediction 1: Over 2.5 away goals - 17/10 Ladbrokes
West Ham vs Man Utd best bet: Cunha to break his duck
It would be easy to go for Bruno Fernandes to score or assist tonight as he has been involved in 10 goals in his last eight away league appearances, with two goals and eight assists.
His eight assists are the joint-most by a United player in a single season, along with Ryan Giggs in 2001-02, and you definitely wouldn’t put it past him adding to that tally in their remaining seven games on the road.
The Portuguese is just 8/11 to be involved in another goal tonight, while he’s 2/1 to score anytime.
Matheus Cunha has also been in good form on the road with three goals and one assist in his last five games away from Old Trafford.
He scored recently against Arsenal and Fulham to take his tally for the season to six, and he would love a better return on the £62.5m United spent on him in the summer.
He has not scored against the Hammers in five games so far, but you can get 15/8 on him breaking that duck tonight.
West Ham vs Man United prediction 2: Cunha to score - 15/8 BetVictor
