OUR REVIEW
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The hotel is situated right on the seafront outside the small town of Campofelice di Roccella, about 50km east of Sicily's capital Palermo. This is a fly and flop kind of hotel with most guests not venturing outside the resort. For those wanting some culture, there's an archeological park about 5-minute drive away.
By plane: direct flights to Palermo take 3 hours from London and 3 hours 30 minutes from Edinburgh. The hotel is a 50-minute drive. Free parking on-site. Book flights to Palermo.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
The hotel's interiors are fresh and inviting, with on-trend flourishes, such as bare tungsten bulbs hanging above the bar and local handicrafts on display in the buffet restaurant. The lobby is bright and white, while the pools are landscaped within mature plants, including citrus trees and palm trees.
THE FACILITIES
Staff are friendly and facilities are wide-ranging - with a schedule of activities, such as aqua aerobics, archery and beach volleyball available. There's nightly entertainment in the outdoor theatre during the season and an adults-only spa. Kids' clubs for babies, children and teens keep the whole family entertained.
