OUR REVIEW
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
This whitewashed enclave of buildings sits above lovely Ornos Bay on the southwestern tip of the island. The airport is only a ten-minute drive, although you won't be bothered by regular flights overhead as a hill separates the airport from Ornos. An excursion to nearby Delos island with its important archaeological sites is quick and easy.
By plane: flights from London and Manchester take under 4 hours. A taxi will take less than 15 minutes from the airport. Free parking on-site. Book flights to Mykonos.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
Areas of the hotel are in a process of renovation, and the most updated areas are the nicest, such as the pool, bar and outdoor restaurant area. There was a conscious effort to design the hotel in the style of a Myconian village, with low rise whitewashed buildings in the Cycladic style. Some artworks - paintings, statues and sculptures - are scattered around, although won't be to everyone's taste. There are splashes of bold colours, such as purple doors and pastel-coloured shutters.
THE FACILITIES
The hotel has two outdoor pools (one seawater, the other freshwater), a swim-up bar and outdoor restaurant, a small boutique, gym and spa. There's a small private beach, and a private dock ideal for romantic dinners.

BED AND BATH
Most suites offer views over Ornos Bay, and there are also three villas. Standard rooms have a shower only, while higher grade ones have hot tub baths. A number of rooms' pools, decks and balconies are very visible, so don't have a great deal of privacy.
Room types: Junior Suite, Deluxe Suite, Suite, Signature Suite, Two-bedroom Suite, Villa
Key amenities: ensuite bathroom with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, coffee machine, balcony or terrace, TV, free Wi-Fi
FOOD AND DRINK
Namah Restaurant is open air and a lovely spot. The breakfast restaurant has a terrace for eating al fresco. There's a good choice of breakfast dishes, a small evening menu, and while there's a quite large wine list, few are available by the glass.
AM du Chef: breakfast buffet and à la carte menu, serving local and international cuisine. Open daily, 8-11am.
Namah: relaxed poolside restaurant, Mediterranean cuisine. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
