If you’re the kind of parent or guardian that leaves buying your child’s school uniform until the last minute, consider this your personal prompt to get a head start this time around.

With children growing all the time, school uniforms can be a costly business, but budget supermarket Aldi is here to take away all the worry with the return of its bargain back-to-school range.

Launching online on 18 July and in-store from 22 July, the collection includes everything your child will need to kickstart the new school year in style, from shirts and trousers to pinafore dresses, shorts, shoes and even PE kits. The best part? Prices start at just £1.99 for a children’s sweatshirt, with the most expensive item being a £12.99 premium backpack.

But, that’s not all. The supermarket is also bringing back its £4.50 school uniform bundle, which is suitable for children aged four to 12 and includes two polo shirts, one sweatshirt and either a pair of trousers or a skirt.

If you’re worried about the quality, don’t be, as Aldi is backing up its claim of being “the best value in the UK” by offering a 150-day satisfaction guarantee on each item. But, if you want to make sure you get your hands on as many of the uniform pieces as you need, you’ll need to act fast, as with all Aldi’s Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
