After almost two weeks of unadulterated chaos, brutal nominations and silly challenges, the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 final has taken place.
David Potts has been crowned the winner in an “incredibly close” ending that saw him in the final two with Nikita Kuzmin.
The Ibiza Weekender star beat Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kuzmin to the title, after Coronation Street actor Colson Smith finished third, former X Factor judge Louis Walsh came fourth and TV presenter Fern Britton placed fifth.
Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches was eliminated in a brutal back-door eviction in the penultimate episode.
Riches’ eviction arrived after his fellow housemates were visited by their friends and family. But when it was the Heartstopper star’s turn, he was met by Celebrity Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu, who informed him he had received the fewest votes and was the seventh housemate to be evicted.
Meanwhile, viewers have accused ITV of “fixing” the show so that Walsh could stay in until the final. Britton named Walsh as her choice for an immediate eviction, but in a plot twist orchestrated by Big Brother, he was granted immunity.
Celebrity Big Brother final airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Britton is tearing up as she tells the others about the impact on her. She addresses her problems with Nikita.
“We may have had a slight bump,” she told him. “I apologise for my part in that. It’s lovely to know you, and what a genuine guy you are.”
Louis says he thinks he’ll be remembered as “the Irish one”.

Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu will not be at the Celebrity Big Brother final tonight (22 March) after a tough few days following her eviction.
The reality star was voted out on the 12th day of the competition (15 March) and had what some called a “car-crash interview” upon her exit.
“Ekin has been a part of some of ITV’s biggest shows over the last two years, including Love Island, Dancing on Ice, her own spin off show with Davide, and now Celebrity Big Brother,” an ITV source told the Daily Mail.
“As such a lot of the team there feel very protective towards her, and it’s a real shame she won’t be at the final.”

Sinitta made a surprise appearance on Thursday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, delivering friend Louis Walsh some “home truths”.
Ahead of Friday’s final (22 March), the remaining housemates were rewarded with a visit from a loved one to celebrate the end of their journey.
“I need to talk to you... I need tell you a few home truths,” Sinitta began, sitting down with Walsh.
“When I first met you, you said it was always good to be nice. But Louis, everyone in the house is nice but you.
“You’re hilarious, but not nice.”

Big Brother star Olivia Young hits out at Fern Britton crying during show
Olivia Young, who was runner up on the civilian Big Brother series last year, has called out This Morning presenter Fern Britton for crying on the show.
In an interview on FUBAR radio earlier this week, the 23-year-old shared some strong words about Britton.
“It’s only three weeks, so haIf the time I’m like, suck it up, you’re getting paid a bomb for this, and you’re depressed.
“If Fern Britton cries one more time I will actually break in tomorrow night when I’m in the studio and punch her.”
However, some fans were sympathetic saying, “I feel sorry for Fern” as the former presenter has had her share of ups and downs on the programme.
She is the last remaining woman in the final.
Sharon Osbourne reveals the CBB finalist who she believes is the biggest ‘game player’

Sharon Osbourne revealed “the biggest game player” on Celebrity Big Brother after leaving the house on Tuesday 12 March.
The former X Factor judge initially tried to dodge the question in a post-show interview before being pressed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
She eventually named David Potts.
“I don’t think there is anything wrong in wanting to win. I think he is so entertaining and funny, he is a good guy,” Osbourne said.
“He is like a moth to a flame when it comes to the camera, he knows how to turn it on,” she added when asked why she thinks Potts is a “game player”.
Lauren Simon accuses CBB finalist of playing a game
Real Housewive star Lauren Simon has revealed who she believes is the biggest game player in the house.
In an interview with Ranvir Singh during Lorraine on Friday (22 March), Simon joined Zeze Millz to talk about her experience on the show.
She branded Fern Britton a “game player” because of her clashes with Strictly star Nikita Kuzmin.
She said: “Watching the show as a viewer, I never knew that Fern cried that much because she was having quite a nice time in the house. And then when I’ve watched it back, she spent a lot of time with Big Brother crying.
“I feel that she’s played a bit of a game with Nikita – he really just said, ‘You look nice Fern’ and that was my opinion as a viewer.”
