One of the best affordable moisturisers going, The Inkey List claims its bio-active ceramide moisturiser will improve the appearance of fine lines and prevent water loss. When I tested it in my roundup of the best hair dryers, I found that the device left my hair in great condition, with the “shafts of my styled hair appearing sealed from the roots to the ends". The Dyson supersonic nural hair dryer has received a rare 25 per cent off that’s continued beyond the Amazon Prime Day sales, so if you've been wanting to invest, now's the time to do it. Having launched last year, the nural model uses sensors and other smart features to automatically adjust heat based on distance from the scalp, improving moisture retention and preventing heat damage. Featuring in IndyBest’s roundup of the best hairdryers, our tester, who has afro hair, said: "I found it to be an absolute game changer. It also dries hair ultra fast due to its powerful airflow. With it, I could easily blow dry my medium-length afro hair in less than 10 minutes." I also tested the tool on my type 1 hair, and found that my locks were left smoothed and healthy-looking.

This is one of the most popular cleansing balms on the market, but at its normal price of £50, it’s something of an investment. I tested a range of formulas in my COSRX skincare review, but I found this one to be the best for dealing with angry, irritated skin. It contains hyaluronic acid, which leaves your skin feeling hydrated, while the snail mucin is said to boost luminosity and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Admittedly, it's hard to know whether the plumpness and reduction in nasolabial creasing I saw in my skin was only down to this product, but I definitely saw an immediate glow and healthy sheen after applying it.
