The Boots Black Friday sale left me impressed even after Cyber Monday

The Boots Black Friday sale has unfortunately come to an end, but you might be surprised to discover that there are still big post-Cyber Monday savings to be taken advantage of. Now that we're in the official Christmas countdown, you can rest easy knowing there are lingering discounts on everything from the Dyson airwrap to the Oura ring, with perfume deals and offers on make-up, skincare and more remaining.

If the first few days of advent have given you the kick you needed to get your Christmas shopping sorted, or perhaps you're looking to indulge in a party season pamper, these final few deals are just for you.

Boots is quite the shopping destination this time of year, and it won't be long until the retailer's 'big Boots sale' kicks off post-Christmas. Nonetheless, these deals in the Black Friday aftermath aren't to be overlooked, with significant reductions on brands such as Philips and Estee Lauder. Even if you aren’t looking to fork out, affordable brands such as The Ordinary are often reduced, too, so you can save extra on your budget favourites.

While the selection is dwindling, I’ve collated a list of deals that feel equally as crème de la crème as the offers we saw over the big weekend itself. In my review of the Nars laguna bronzing powder I loved the tanned look it gave me, and found it blends like a dream while being buildable. Its creamy texture offers a natural glow or you can layer it up for a bolder bronze. This versatile buy is well worth snapping up for less right now.

Givenchy lip liner: Was £19, now £15.20, Boots.com

IndyBest senior shopping writer Daisy Lester named this the best liner for precision in her guide to the best lip liners. “The sharp tip creates definition and fullness around the lips, and it’s great for filling in fine lines, for a smoother finish,” she described. Huda Beauty easy bake loose baking and setting powder: Was £34, now £25.50, Boots.com

In beauty buff Louise Whitbread's review of the best setting powders, this product was dubbed the best for full-coverage make-up. Louise said this was thanks to the "air-brushed finish and skin-smoothing effect" the powder delivered during testing. "A multi-purpose pick, this product will help smooth lines, blur pores and mattify shine, helping your make-up look flawless for hours," added Louise. Sound good? You can now nab the setting powder with a saving of almost £10 at Boots.

Dr Jart+ ceramidin skin barrier: Was £15, now £11.25, Boots.com

Calling all Korean skincare lovers, the Dr Jart+ ceramidin skin barrier moisturising cream is on offer at Boots. When I tested it I noted: “nourishing and lightweight, its thick texture made me wary at first but, after testing, I was relieved to discover it prompted neither excess shine nor breakouts.” As it’s a pricey moisturiser at £15 (normal price) for 15ml, if you're looking to stock up, now makes a good time.

Milk Makeup pore eclipse mattifying primer: Was £35, now £28, Boots.com

Beauty buff Louise Whitbread was so impressed with this product, she gave it the top spot in her review of the best primers. "It makes an instant and dramatic difference to visibly larger pores, creates a smooth canvas for foundation and concealer to be applied on top, and keeps my makeup in place for significantly longer than usual," said Louise. She added that "the primer didn’t pill under my favourite liquid, cream, gel or powder products". Now, you can save 20 per cent on the price of the primer, thanks to the Boots post-Black Friday sale.

Lancôme la vie est belle rose extraordinaire eau de parfum, 50ml: Was £105, now £49, Boots.com

There’s a sweet £56 saving on this Lancôme scent right now, taking its price down to less than £50. Featuring a rose twist on the classic la vie perfume, other scent notes include woody musk for extra depth. This version of the brand’s signature bottle would sit pretty on any dressing table, and we love its additional rose petal-inspired details.

Nursem caring hand cream: Was £9.99, now £7.49, Boots.com

If the colder weather is already taking its toll on your hands, skincare expert and beauty editor Humeara Mohamed rated Nursem’s formula in her review of the best eczema creams. Humeara said: “The creams are completely fragrance-free and will soothe, condition and regenerate skin on sore, reactive hands.” Even better, you can currently save 25 per cent on the price of this tube, thanks to the Boots post-Black Friday sale.

No7 pro artist runway radiance primer: Was £19.95, now £11.97, No7beauty.co.uk

When I compared No7’s pro artist primer against Bobbi Brown’s face base (was £54, now £43.20, Boots.com), I found both formulas feature vitamin C, vitamin E, shea butter, geranium oil, squalane and HA. "After wearing both primers on my skin for about an hour, No7’s had a better grip on my make-up, without the telltale slipperiness that usually – on my skin, anyway – precedes an oily sheen," I wrote in my review. While the pro artist primer doesn't contain the vitamin A found in the Bobbi Brown face base, No7's formula is a budget-friendly pick. The best deal is on No7’s own website, but as it’s a Boots brand, I thought it was worth including here.

Shark cryoglow under-eye cooling and LED anti-ageing and blemish repair mask: Was £299.99, now £249, Boots.com

If you’re after an LED face mask, look no further than Boots’ post-Black Friday sale, as this one from Shark is nearly £50 off. In her review of the Shark cryoglow mask, senior shopping writer Daisy Lester was “seriously impressed” by the beauty tool, noting that it made a “noticeable difference” to her skin texture and complexion.

Daisy added that “if you’re looking to invest in brighter, more radiant and even skin, I don’t think you’ll have any regrets after giving this mask a try”. Sign me up. Don’t worry if you miss this deal at Boots, as it’s being sold for the same price at Amazon.

Oral-B iO2 electric toothbrush: Was £100, now £35, Boots.com

This iO brush holds the top spot in our guide to the best electric toothbrushes – unlike many top-performing electricals, it’s refreshingly affordable too, especially with a £65 post-Black Friday discount.

“I’ll always recommend a cheaper electric toothbrush with as few silly extras as possible, so which features has Oral-B removed to bring the price of the iO2 down? Nothing you’ll really miss,” writes our tech critic Steve Hogarty.

“The budget-friendly brush doesn’t have a display, fast charging, a rechargeable travel case, or a connected app to track your brushing habits. Fitness and wellbeing editor Emilie Lavinia was impressed by the Oura Ring 4 in her review, noting that it’s the “best out there”. She added: “The price of the Oura ring may put some people off, but I’d argue that this is a more lifestyle-led tracker than most. It’s a more valuable investment for regular people who want to take charge of their health, work with the AI coach, and share reports with their doctor. It doesn’t seem as exclusive or athlete-focused as many other wearables.” Now it has been reduced by £150, it’s the perfect time to invest in your health.

The Dyson airwrap is perhaps the most coveted item on every beauty buff's wishlist. This deal on the i.d. model – the newest bar one – saves £80 on the app-connected device.

The i.d. enables users to wrap, heat and cool their curls with the press of a single button, thanks to the airwrap's personalisation tools via the MyDyson app. When testing the styler for her airwrap i.d. review, haircare expert Elena Chabo loved how her “curls held really well and even remained in place the next morning”.

Oral-B iO3 electric toothbrush and travel case, blush pink: Was £160, now £50, Boots.com

Oral-B toothbrushes are often discounted after Black Friday spreads its wings and, luckily you can still save more than 50 per cent on the iO3. Although we haven't tested this particular model, tech expert Steve Hogarty praised a range of Oral-B designs in his guide to the best electric toothbrushes, so you know this is a brand you can rely on.

Giorgio Armani code eau de toilette refillable 75ml: Was £87, now £40, Boots.com

Better than half price, Giorgio Armani’s code eau de toilette is just £40 at Boots, making it the perfect time to stock up on this much-loved fragrance. With its sophisticated blend of citrus and wood, it’s a classic scent. If you love it, the 150ml refill is also on offer, with £37.50 off (£87.50, Boots.com), meaning you could refill your bottle twice for the same price.

Garmin forerunner 955 smartwatch: Was £439.99, now £359.99, Boots.com

Fitness fanatics, listen up: Boots has dropped discounts on a range of Garmin smartwatches, including this £70 saving on the forerunner 955.

When fitness expert Harry Bullmore tested the wearable in his guide to the best Garmin watches, he dubbed it the best device for cycling, and commended how “it tracks every second of your workout in impressive detail”.

Estee Lauder double wear stay-in-place foundation, 30ml: Was £39.50, now £25.67, Boots.com

We love the Estee Lauder double wear foundation range, and this bottle is now 35 per cent off at Boots. “The original cult favourite double-wear foundation is famous for its full coverage, budge-proof matte formula,” said beauty expert Sabine Wiesel in her review of the sheer version of this foundation. Clinique fan favourites skincare and makeup gift set: Was £100, now £50, Boots.com

This bundle of Clinique treats is too good to miss, with 50 per cent off in the Boots post-Black Friday sale. Not only does it feature the beauty brand’s high-impact mascara, but you’ll take home Clinique’s all-time best-seller: a full-size version of the moisture surge hydrator. When I tested the formula for my guide to the best moisturisers for oily skin, I found my skin felt cooled and plumped, and one tub lasted a surprisingly long time. Plus, with this set including an eye cream and miniature 'take the day off' cleansing balm, you’ll be well and truly prepped for party season.

RoC line smoothing max hydration cream: Was £36.99, now £24.66,Boots.com

In beauty writer Jane Druker’s review of the best moisturisers for mature skin, she found RoC’s line smoothing max hydration cream to be the best for targeting wrinkles. It has a “light-as-a-feather consistency” that was “really easily absorbed”, she noted, and it features hyaluronic acid and pure retinol, which left her skin “supple, soft-to-the-touch and noticeably more glowy and youthful”. The included retinol also “visibly reduced [her] fine lines and wrinkles” around her eyes and mouth, within just a couple of weeks. And I’ve spotted it’s on sale with a very decent £12 off at Boots.

La Roche-Posay effaclar A.Z. gel-cream: Was £33, now £26.40, Boots.com

When beauty buff Louise Whitbread put this gel-cream to the test for her review of the best night creams, she was left impressed, awarding it 4.5 stars out of five. “The latest addition to La Roche-Posay’s wildly popular effaclar acne range, this product has been designed specifically to target blemish-prone skin,” said Louise. The formula contains four key ingredients: azelaic acid, salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid and zinc. Combined, they “gently exfoliate to remove dead skin and unblock pores, regulate sebum production, and smooth skin texture”. With the cream now reduced by 20 per cent at Boots, what more could you want?

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium eau du parfum over red: Was £56, now £49, Boots.com

This Yves Saint Laurent perfume is featured in the Boots post-Black Friday sale. With top notes of cherry and mandarine and base notes of coffee and vanilla, this seductive scent would make a great accompaniment to your evening outfit, or a thoughtful gift for a loved one this Christmas.

Milk Makeup kush high roll mascara: Was £26, now £20.80, Boots.com

The mascara I rated best in my review round-up is on offer at Boots right now, so you can snap it up for under £20. It’s easy to apply, separates the lashes and maintains a curl, making this a deal I’d definitely recommend.

Garmin forerunner 55: Was £179.99, £123.55, Boots.com

The Garmin forerunner 55 tops our roundup of the best running watches – it is also one of the most affordable options on the market, especially with a discount of nearly £60 for Black Friday.

“Although this is one of Garmin’s more budget-friendly options, it’s packed with premium features to help boost a user’s performance in a number of different sports,” our tester Zoe Griffin writes.

“I was impressed by the Garmin coach feature, which offers free 5k, 10k and marathon training plans you can follow on the screen.
