Erik ten Hag is the favourite with football betting sites to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post amid Manchester United's underwhelming campaign.

Ten Hag's odds have been up and down throughout the season due to United's inconsistent form. Now that Champions League football is all but out of their grasp for the next campaign, the Dutchman has seen his odds clipped to 3/1 with BetVictor to be the next manager to leave.

This market will close at midday on May 19, the final day of the Premier League season, so any bet on Ten Hag to go would only be successful if he is relieved of his duties before that date.

Although the Red Devils could still finish in the Premier League's top six and have reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup, where they'll play Coventry at the weekend, reports suggest the club's new footballing hierarchy are looking at replacements for Ten Hag.

A strong end to the campaign could still save the 54-year-old, with the club backed at 13/5 in the FA Cup odds to end the season with at least one piece of silverware.

Ten Hag replaced Burnley boss Vincent Kompany at the top of the list, despite the Clarets seemingly heading straight back to the Championship. Results have improved slightly for Kompany's side in recent weeks, losing just one of their last six.

But, they've secured only one win during that time in a 2-1 triumph over Brentford, leaving them with a mountain to climb to avoid the drop. Even if Burnley are relegated, the Clarets' hierarchy appear to be willing to stick with Kompany to start the next term.

The Belgian still has odds of 5/1 with gambling sites to be the next man to leave his role, but his position is stronger than it was with his team at last showing a semblance of fight for their Premier League future.

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is a big mover as his odds have been slashed to 5/1 by Parimatch. The Italian has been linked with a number of available roles around Europe, including Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The Seagulls have had another solid campaign, although it has not been as successful as it could have been after defeat in the Europa League round of 16 to Roma and crashing out in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Brighton are on course for a mid-table finish in the Premier League, which is another good return from a side that have suffered from a litany of injuries and the exodus of key players.

But De Zerbi's ambition and apparent friction with Brighton's recruitment strategy could lead him to leave the Amex Stadium.

Sheffield United's Chris Wilder and Nottingham Forest's Nuno Espirito Santo are both priced at 6/1 on betting apps. The Blades' relegation to the Championship is looking more and more likely as Wilder has been unable to arrest his side's slump.

The South Yorkshire outfit could choose to begin in the second tier with a new man in the dugout and cut Wilder loose before the end of the Premier League campaign.

Forest are fighting a desperate battle at the bottom after their four-point deduction for a breach of PSR rules. Nuno made a good start to his tenure with the Tricky Trees, but he has been unable to distance the club from the bottom three due to their leaky defence.

Owner Evangelos Marinakis is not afraid to make bold calls and replacing Nuno before the end of the season could be in play if he believes it gives the Midlands outfit a better chance to retain their Premier League status.

Mauricio Pochettino's odds have drifted out to 12/1 with his Chelsea side having shown signs of improvement towards the end of the season.

They could even end the campaign with silverware if they get past Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals, while the Blues are also trending towards a top six finish in the Premier League with games in hand on their rivals.

Pochettino is the same price as Sean Dyche, who saw his Everton team hammered 6-0 by Chelsea in their Premier League clash. Everton endured a 13-game winless run before beating Burnley two weeks ago.

But, a second points deduction for a breach of PSR rules has threatened the club's Premier League status. After their collapse at Stamford Bridge, the Toffees look vulnerable and Dyche does seem short on answers to stop their slide.

Two men that shouldn't be concerned about their job security are David Moyes and Eddie Howe, although you can still get a price of 16/1 on betting sites for them to leave their respective sides before the end of the season.

Moyes has West Ham on course for another top half finish in the Premier League and has overseen a good run in Europe into the quarter-finals of the Europa League. Still, the Scot has faced calls to go from some sections of Hammers' fans, notably after their 6-0 hammering by Arsenal

But, given his overall achievements, it would be a surprise for the east London outfit to call time on his tenure.

After finishing in the top four last season, Howe has once again performed admirably at St. James' Park with his Newcastle team. Even though they failed to hit the heights of last term, Newcastle are still challenging for a Europa League place with a fine recent run of form.

Howe has proven his doubters wrong, despite dealing with a host of injuries to key players, including Nick Pope, Sven Botman, Joelinton and Callum Wilson. The 46-year-old has continued to enhance his reputation on Tyneside.

Brentford appear to be safe from the threat of relegation after beating Sheffield United. Thomas Frank was never seemingly in danger of the sack, and has even caught the eye of other teams in search of a manager. Odds of 20/1 are available for him to leave his post.

Marco Silva's Fulham team are in Premier League purgatory. They've been too good to go down, but have lacked the quality to press towards Europe.

His handling of the Cottagers this season will have earned him plaudits, particularly with the development of Rodrigo Muniz in the final third as a replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Portuguese is priced at 25/1 with talkSPORT BET to be the next man to go, but that could only be for another club pursuing his signature.
