When attending a wedding pre-Covid, it was almost a given that you would spot at least one person wearing a Rixo dress. Since its launch in 2015, the British brand’s instantly recognisable vintage-inspired numbers have become the go-to for fashion-conscious wedding guests, offering everything from party-ready minis to chic midi dresses designed in timeless silhouettes and eye-catching floral prints.

But, not content with simply dressing invitees, Rixo has now set its sights on the bride too with the launch of its debut bridal range.

The 26-piece collection was designed with individualism at its core, as the brand’s founders, Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey, sought to cater to couples planning their big day amid the ongoing pandemic.

With this in mind, the range delivers styles suited to all brides, whether they’re holding out for a bigger celebration or opting for a more intimate ceremony.

More traditional bridal gowns feature striking details such as beautiful jacquard prints, lace inserts and silk buttons, while those looking to make more of a statement can choose between sleek separates, feather-trimmed mini dresses, jumpsuits and contemporary tailoring inspired by style icons such as Bianca Jagger and Kate Moss.

The collection is priced between £295 and £1,450, with accessories starting at just £75. In line with the label’s existing range, stock will be available in UK sizes 6 to 16 and a dedicated bridal boutique is set to open when government lockdown restrictions are eased.

In the meantime, the entire range is available to shop online now. But, as it’s limited-edition, we suggest acting quickly if you’re set to tie the knot in the coming months and want to get your hands on one of Rixo’s dreaming dresses. Here, we take a look at the top picks from the collection.

Rixo yara embellished pearl headband: £75

A great hair accessory is vital to tying your bridal look together but not everyone wants to opt for a traditional veil. Whether you’re having a smaller civil ceremony or you’re simply on the hunt for a unique yet stylish alternative, we suggest picking up this beautiful pearl headband.

The piece is made using clusters of pretty ivory pearls that are gathered on top of a metal hairband, helping to keep your hair in place and serve as a statement finishing touch to your wedding day look.
