King Charles III’s coronation drew thousands to central London on Saturday, with royalists settling in to watch the procession, despite the rainy weather. Whether or not you’re a fan of the royal family, the extra bank holiday weekend was a welcome spring bonus.

Saturday’s ceremony was followed by the coronation procession, where the royal family made an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile, thousands of nationwide street parties took place on Sunday, as part of Queen Consort Camilla’s The Big Lunch campaign. Plus, there was a concert at Windsor Castle in the evening, with stars such as Katy Perry and Lionel Richie performing.
