With summer slowly approaching and the warmer months on the horizon, you may well be turning your attention to revamping the garden.
And as lockdown is set to be loosened, it won’t be long until you can have guests around outside.
But, chances are your backyard may be looking a little neglected after the colder weather.
If you’re fortunate to have a bit more space, why not consider investing in a hot tub? Perfect for at-home relaxation, even if the weather feels chilly, they’re a functional piece of gear that will make hanging out in your garden a much more enjoyable experience.
As they’re costly products, you want to know you’re getting your money’s worth, so we’ve delved into Amazon’s bestsellers list to find the most popular hot tubs you can shop now.
Most are inflatable – so you can stow them away in the shed if there ever comes a point when you don’t want it on show – and promise to be easy to assemble.

The bestselling hot tub on Amazon is this inflatable version that fits two to four people. It has an air jet system that pumps bubbling water into it so that wherever you sit you can enjoy a gentle massage. Setting it up, meanwhile, reportedly takes mere minutes.
You won’t need tools – simply inflate with the pump that it comes with in less than five minutes. It also has a two-year warranty and “freeze-shield technology” that will keep water from freezing overnight during the winter.
MspaUK Bergen 2021 portable hot tub: £545.95, Amazon.co.uk
Taking the number two spot is this fetching blue design. This one fits four people, but you buy other models from the same brand to suit two or for larger groups of six. It comes with a variety of features including a smart filtration system, quick heating system, anti-icing system, an energy-saving timer and even a child safety lock.
Interestingly, it also has a built-in UVC sanitiser to ensure it’s antibacterial and hygienic. There’s an internal control box too, which works to absorb noise so it’s a lot quieter for your neighbours.

This hot tub can be bought with accessories so you create a relaxing at-home spa complete with drinks holders and headrests. Designed to fit up to four people, it’s made from hard-wearing PVC fabric and aluminium foil for maximum heat retention and features an external pump to ensure it inflates quickly and efficiently.

GTC hot tub inflatable Mspa: £600, Amazon.co.uk
If you’re a family of six, this will comfortably fit everyone and is ideal for when you can have guests over. Obviously, it will require more space in your back garden, so keep that in mind before ordering.

Lay-Z-Spa Hawaii hot tub: £899, Amazon.co.uk
The square shape of this hot tub will make it easy to position in your garden and can suit more compact spaces. While it fits four people, due to the smaller size it will be a little more intimate – something to be aware of if you don’t want any knocking knees.
With 140 jets, the same freeze-shield technology in Lay-Z-Spa’s other hot tubs and a durable structure, it’s likely to get a lot of use from the whole family. It too promises to take just five minutes to fill with water, so there’s a lot less waiting around.
Lay-Z-Spa Paris hot tub with built-in LED light system: £833.01, Amazon.co.uk
Boasting a huge 140 air jets surrounding the inside of this inflatable hot tub, you’re sure to get out feeling completely relaxed. Fitting four to six people and heating up to 40C, it also comes with integrated multi-colour LED lights so you can make the most of it even after the sun goes down. It comes with a wireless remote so you can pick and choose which of the seven colour settings you fancy, from blues to reds. And the energy-saving features will come in handy – it switches itself off when you’re not using it and you can also schedule it to heat up so it’s bubbling as you walk in the door.
