Watch: Pet dog tied to sinking boat rescued by US Coast Guard
Two people and their pet dog were rescued from a sinking boat by coast guards in the US state of Georgia earlier this month.
The incident happened on the open sea near St Simons Sound on Monday 1 May.
A member of the US Coast Guard climbed aboard the sinking vessel that Reggie the dog was tied to, while one of the two unnamed people who were on the boat was being lifted into the helicopter.
“The two people and Reggie are in good spirits,” a statement from the coast guard, released after the rescue, read.
