Moment Popeyes employee trashes restaurant after ‘not getting paid for a month’

Cameras have caught the moment a Popeyes employee in Chicago 'destroyed' the restaurant after allegedly not being paid for over a month.

In the video posted to TikTok, food gets thrown around the kitchen, including boxes of eggs smashed on the floor, before panning to cut phone lines and emptied tills.

“At least he got his money,” the text over the top of the video read.

However, many said the employee 'shouldn't have stuck around' instead of taking the drastic action.
