Listen: Woman’s ‘cold’ 999 as she tells operator ‘I stabbed my partner with a knife and he’s dead’
This is the 999 call a woman made to emergency services just minutes after stabbing her ‘loving’ partner to death.
Sonja Blenkiron, 41, called 999 after fatally injuring her partner Paul Wagland, 52, at her Hartcliffe flat.
When asked on the initial call if the patient is breathing, she responds: “No, the patient is dead.”
Then asked what had happened, she states: “Me and my partner had a fight, a massive fight, and I stabbed him with a knife, and he’s dead.”
Blenkiron has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 15 years after she was found guilty of murder.
