Watch live as US Commerce Secretary Raimondo joins White House briefing

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo will join deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at the White House press briefing on Tuesday (9 November).

Raimondo was in Chicago on Monday to mark the lifting of the US travel ban for vaccinated arrivals – with the policy having been in place since Donald Trump made the move in March 2020.

Pictures and videos have been shared across social media of queues forming at airports in the US as people take advantage of the new, more lenient rules.
