Conservationists save two-tonne rhino mother from falling on baby
This is the moment a group of conservationists stop a two-tonne rhino from fatalling falling on her baby.
The animals had been given drugs to sedate her for dehorning on 10 April.
Kim McLeod was folllowing a group of rangers in Thula Thula Private Game Reserve in South Africa, and captured the moment mother Mona walked on wobbly legs towards her daughter Lisa, who was already asleep on the floor.
The conservationists can then be seen guiding Mona away from Lisa as she stumbles closer to her.
The rangers then form a wall against the baby to ensure her mother doesn’t fall on to her.
