Stormzy announced as England’s Soccer Aid manager: ‘Maybe I’ll give Jose a call’

Stormzy has announced he will manage the England team at this year’s Soccer Aid.

In a video message on Good Morning Britain, the iconic rapper joked about his tactics and also said he’d “love” to manage Wayne Rooney, calling on the legendary England striker to come and play on Sunday 11 June.

“I’m not even a musician that day... I’ll take gaffer or boss,” he said of his role.

“If we’re in the 80th minute, it’s 3-2 and we’re on the back foot, maybe I give Jose [Mourinho] a call. ‘Yo, what do I do here?’”
