Trafalgar Square erupts following Raheem Sterling’s goal against Croatia in the Euro 2020 championships. England won their first game of Euro 2020, the first time the national team has ever won its opening match during a European tournament. With a single goal set up by Kalvin Phillips, England beat Croatia, the side that knocked them out of the World Cup three years ago. The game took place at home for England in Wembley Stadium with 22,500 lucky fans in attendence.
