William and Kate share a drink with royal fans during Windsor walkabout

The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a drink with royal fans in Windsor as they made a surprise appearance for a 40-minute walkabout on Sunday (7 May).

William was handed a can of coronation ale ahead of the much-anticipated concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday evening.

The couple greeted crowds, shaking hands and speaking to revellers in some welcome sunshine after rain disrupted the day of the coronation.

Both William and Kate were gifted ale before sipping homemade cocktails with fans.
