Fox News admits pushing false claims over Biden’s climate change plans

Fox News anchor John Roberts has issued a correction live on air, admitting that a graphic displayed by the network led people to believe that President Biden‘s climate plans involved reducing the amount of red meat people eat.

The announcement blew up among the right wing on social media, who repeated the claim that Biden’s plan would result in Americans having to ration their intake of red meat to “one hamburger per month.”

“A graphic and a script incorrectly implied that it was part of Biden’s plan for dealing with climate change,” host John Roberts said.
