Black bear goes bobbing for apples in pool at Oakland Zoo

A black bear enjoyed a day of apple bobbing over the weekend, as animals got into the Halloween spirit at Oakland Zoo.

“Tejon is the undisputed king of bobbing for apples,” the zoo wrote, sharing the footage on social media website X.

He came to the zoo as a cub a few years ago.

An elephant named Osh was also seen indulging in “spooky season” by splashing around in a pool with a pumpkin puzzle.

Hippos living at Philadelphia Zoo also enjoyed similar Halloween treats in recent days, playing in a pumpkin pool party.
