Defence Secretary Ben Wallace in Moscow amid Ukraine tensions

The UK’s defence secretary Ben Wallace has travelled to Moscow, Russia, to meet the country’s own defence seretary in a bid to dampen the ongoing tensions on the Ukrainian border.

President Vladimir Putin has despatched thousands of troops to the border, and the US as well as its allies have intelligence which suggests Russia will soon attempt an invasion.

Today, Wallace attended a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by the Kremlin Wall.
