Christmas Boat Parade sails through Florida

Boats covered in festive Christmas lights paraded down Florida’s waterways to celebrate the holiday season last night.

Several boats made their way south through the city’s Intracoastal waterway in Venice, adorned with bright lights and decorations.

Boaters have been showing off their decorated boats on the Intracoastal Waterway since 1989, marking this the 32nd annual parade.

Roughly two dozen boats participated in the tradition this year while decorated with lit-up figures of Santa and Christmas trees.

Attendees swarmed to the water side to cheer the procession on.
