Lampard urges Chelsea to be ‘killers’ after Nottingham Forest draw
Chelsea’s Frank Lampard urged his players to “be killers at the top end of the pitch” after a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday (13 May).
The Blues’ interim boss called on his squad to be more ruthless if they are to emulate Raheem Sterling’s two goals and end their scoring woes.
“If you’re going to win games when you have 76 per cent possession, you need to be killers at the top end of the pitch, and Raheem is proven to be that. At the moment we don’t have enough of that,” Lampard said.
