Brian Cox channels Logan Roy in explicit Newsnight sign-off

Brian Cox took a leaf out of Logan Roy's book as he ended Newsnight with a Succession-style explicit sign-off.

The Scottish actor, 77, appeared on the BBC's politics show for its final episode of 2023 on Friday, 15 December.

After discussing his iconic role on the Emmy-award winning drama, Cox was invited to give viewers a taste of his media mogul character as the episode came to an end.

His sign-off started sweetly, before ending with a classic Logan Roy swear word.
