Staff respond as Taylor Swift fans flock to London pub mentioned in new album
Staff have responded after Taylor Swift fans flocked to a London pub apparently referenced on her new album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Over the course of last weekend, thousands of devoted Swifties descended on Vauxhall to catch a glimpse of The Black Dog.
A song on the new album shares the name of the pub and Swift sings about an ex-boyfriend - believed to be Joe Alwyn - who left his cell phone location settings on after the break-up.
“We’re a very cozy, small neighbourhood pub, so something like this happening is a dream, it’s something that money can’t buy,” one member of staff at The Black Dog pub said.
