Prince William says Queen Elizabeth would be ‘very proud mother’ of King Charles in coronation concert speech
The Prince of Wales took to the stage at the coronation concert on Sunday, 7 May, to pay tribute to his father, King Charles III.
Prince William paid tribute to the King for his focus on the environment “long before it was an everyday issue" and for setting up the Prince's Trust, a youth charity, as he spoke about why he believes the coronation is so important.
William added that the late Queen Elizabeth II would be a "very proud mother."
