Scientists discover mysterious signals from new gravitational wave detector
Scientists have discovered mysterious signals using a new type of gravitational wave detector that is capable of sitting on top of a table.
Previously iterations of gravitational wave detectors were 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) long β and focused primarily on low-frequency gravitational waves that originated more recently.
However, this new type of detector is capable of picking up high-frequency waves, which may date back to the Big Bang and shed some light on how the universe began. Well, once the scientists figure out what exactly these waves are trying to tell us that is.
