‘The campaign goes on’: Mick Lynch joins picket line as train strikes coincide with Eurovision final

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers’ (RMT) campaign for a pay deal goes on, Mick Lynch said as he joined striking rail workers on a picket line outside London Euston station on Saturday (13 May)

RMT members working at 14 train operators walked out on Saturday in a long-running dispute over pay.

It comes after members of the Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (Aslef) train driver’s union, from more than a dozen operators, staged a strike on Friday.
