Champions League: Eintracht Frankfurt fans clash with riot police ahead of Napoli game

Eintracht Frankfurt fans clashed with police after arriving in Naples ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League last-16 match with Napoli.

Hundreds of supporters were present in the Italian city this week, despite away fans being barred from the second leg after incidents at their first meeting last month.

Footage shows the scene after smoke bombs and flares were thrown at riot police, who responded with tear gas.

A police car was set on fire by supporters.

The match went ahead as planned later on Wednesday evening, with Napoli winning 3-0 on the night and 5-0 on aggregate.
