Nick Knowles ‘unrecognisable’ as he reveals surprise reason for transformation

Nick Knowles looked “unrecognisable” as he appeared on BBC’s The One Show on Monday (27 February) to discuss his latest projects.

The 61-year-old was quizzed on his new facial hair by One Show host Alex Jones.

She said: “There's an elephant in the room here. There's a new look, Nick.”

The television presenter explained: “I’m not actually doing any filming for a while. I’m doing some writing and things and so I had the chance to grow a beard. I can’t have a beard like this when I’m filming.”

Viewers spoke of his transformation on Twitter, formerly X. One said: “If I hadn’t heard his voice, I wouldn’t have recognised Nick Knowles.”
