'We're all in the same boat', says Prince Andrew after father Philip's death

The Duke of York has said the Royal Family and rest of the nation are “in the same boat” following the death of Prince Phillip.

Speaking on Sunday after attending a church service, Prince Andrew said the death of his father brought home the reality of the suffering that families have felt during the coronavirus pandemic.

Andrew likened the Prince Philip’s death to losing a “grandfather of the nation”.

The Duke of Edinburgh died peacefully at Windsor Castle on Friday April 9 at the age of 99.
