Barking mad: Couple launches taxi service exclusively for animals

If you thought the world of people spending ridiculous sums of money pampering their pets couldn’t get any wilder then wait until you see what one Egyptian couple has come up with.

In fairness, their pet taxi service sounds like it’s more about bringing your cat or pooch to important appointments – like the vets, for example – but it’s nice to imagine your mutt hailing a cab because they didn’t fancy hacking the walk to the park.

And if their plans to launch an Uber-style service to go with their business take off, it might even just happen yet.
