Arizona neighbourhood battles rat infestation as body found in hoarder house

A neighbourhood in Arizona has been overrun with “large” rats after a body was found inside a home with a hoarding problem.

First responders were first called to the property in Peoria on 23 September when a neighbour reported a bad smell. The conditions were so bad that police had to use a drone and robot to inspect the inside.

“The ground was moving when they finally got into the house,” a neighbour who had talked to officers told Fox News. He said there were “hundreds if not thousands of rats up and down our street, in our backyards, in our garages.”
