Anton du Beke reveals his father stabbed him as a child in Christmas altercation

Anton Du Beke has shared a heartbreaking story from his childhood in a new episode of Kate Garraway’s Life Stories.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 57, told the host that he spent three days in hospital as a result of the attack on Boxing Day.

Du Beke appeared emotional as he recalled how he’d never spoken about the incident before.

“I wanted a new start and a new beginning... I’ve never said this out loud before,” he added.

The dancer will share the full story on tonight’s (2 August) episode of Kate Garraway’s Life Stories on ITV.
