Jacob Rees-Mogg blames ‘snowflakey, work-shy’ civil servants for EU law U-turn

Jacob Rees-Mogg has blasted the ‘snowflakey, work-shy’ civil service for the planned U-turn on scrapping 4,000 pieces of EU law.

Speaking on GB News, the Tory MP claimed he could’ve ‘drawn them up himself over a weekend’.

“I think Kemi Badenoch put on a very brave face on the failure of the civil service”, he said.

“If I remember rightly, it is against the ministerial code to blame the civil service so she couldn’t really lay into them.”
