CNN guest’s backflip attempt ends in disaster live on air

A CNN guest's backflip attempt went wrong as he came crashing to the floor live on air.

During CNN News Central on Thursday, 23 July, Savannah Bananas baseball player RobertAnthony Cruz tried to perform the stunt but fell flat on his face.

The team are known for pulling off stunts on the field.

In a post on Instagram, Cruz added that viewers had his permission to laugh at the incident, and he's "all good."

"Some stitches, slightly damaged pride, and some unparalleled dad lore," he wrote in the caption.
