Conservation expert says biodiversity is ‘integral to human prosperity’

Leading conservation expert Dr Andrew Tilker has stressed the importance of biodiversity for the future of the human race.

Speaking to the Independent at the Saudi Green Initiative London summit Dr Tilker said “biodiversity is integral to human prosperity, to a thriving planet earth that we all depend upon”.

“There are many examples of how intact, functioning, healthy ecosystems actually provide numerous benefits back to societies… and actually contribute to overall greater good” Dr Tilker continued.
