Roman Kemp announced as new BBC The One Show host as Jermaine Jenas makes ‘mug’ dig

Roman Kemp has been announced as a new presenter for the BBC’s The One Show.

Kemp, who said his new role is a “dream come true” was unveiled as the latest star to join the show in a special clip on Friday.

He will join regular presenter Alex Jones on the famous red sofa. Kemp will share his slot with Jermaine Jenas, who commented on the DJ’s Instagram post, where he can be seen putting an Arsenal mug on the coffee table at The One Show set.

Jenas said: “Wow… whoever allowed that mug in my place of work is getting it! welcome to the show lad @romankemp.”
