Illegal Migration Bill removal will not apply to ‘unaccompanied asylum-seeking children’, Braverman says
The duty to remove illegal migrants under the Illegal Migration Bill will not apply to "unaccompanied asylum-seeking children," Suella Braverman has said.
Government asylum proposals to reduce small boat crossings have received backlash from Tory MPs for amendments to protect trafficked women, children and modern slavery victims.
