Constance Marten: Police ask public to search their gardens for missing baby

Police have asked members of the public to check their gardens in the search for Constance Marten and partner Mark Gordon’s missing baby.

Officers have been searching woodland areas and open land as part of efforts to find the runaway aristocrat’s newborn after she was found without the child.

The couple are in police custody after being arrested in Brighton on suspicion of child neglect.

They had been travelling around the UK by taxi since their car was found burning on the M61 in Bolton, Greater Manchester, on 5 January.
