Chilling 911 call captures terrified caller inside Nashville school during shooting

Audio released by Nashville authorities on Thursday, 30 March, captures the terror felt inside an elementary school during a shooting in which three children and three adults were killed on Monday.

An adult caller can be heard telling the operator that she hears gunshots as she is hiding in an art room closet, asking for emergency services to “hurry.”

The alleged shooter, a 28-year-old former student, was killed by police at the scene.
