Bournemouth's beach hosts a crowd for Mother's Day sunshine

On Sunday, people across the UK have celebrated Mother’s Day and many have chosen to mark the occasion by heading to Bournemouth’s beach in Dorset.

As the south of England has been experiencing elevated temperatures, people have enjoyed this Mother’s Day sunshine at the beach.

Also known as Mothering Sunday, it is dedicated to honouring mothers and falls on the fourth Sunday of the Christian festival of Lent.

After the end of Covid restrictions earlier this year, there will be no limitation to crowds forming.
