Reese Witherspoon reminds Nicole Kidman of her real name

Reese Witherspoon has responded to Nicole Kidman forgetting what her real name is.

Speaking in a Vanity Fair video, the Big Little Lies actors actors addressed why Witherspoon called their co-star Laura Dern by her surname on set.

“It sounds so weird,” Kidman told Witherspoon, before the latter reminded her why it may have been confusing on set to use her first name.

Witherspoon’s full name is Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon.

She shortened it to her mother’s maiden name before her acting career.
