President Biden takes crack at Fox News’ vaccine requirements during CNN town hall

President Joe Biden incorrectly claims Fox News’ mandates staff vaccines inside its headquarters during his appearance at CNN’s town hall in Baltimore.

The US president said: “Do you realise they [Fox] mandate vaccinations?”

“At Fox News’ headquarters?” Anderson Cooper asks.

Biden replies: “Yes, I find that mildly fascinating”.

Fox News’ policy requires all employees - whether remote or office-based working - to upload their vaccination status into Workday.

An internal memo states “select essential employees” are required to be tested twice a week, and all employees have to complete a “daily screening” before reporting to work.
